I have learned to always take pictures when dropping off your rental enterprise charged me over $1,000 in damages there was no attendant I was told to drop the keys in a box. I did try to fight with damage control. I will never rent from enterprise again. I think there's something shady going on!
On November 23 of the present year, my sister in law rented a Dodge Caravan from the Enterprise Miami Lakes branch, with the purpose of going on a family Thanksgiving vacation trip to North Carolina to be there on Thanksgiving day with a bunch of family members, we were 5 people in the van, including her elderly mother with some special medical needs. We started the trip approximately at 10 pm on November 24, we had traveled about 2 hours when we notice a rattling noise coming out of the right rear side of the vehicle, in the beginning the noise was not too bad, as time went on the noise got louder than we notice that there was an issue with the rear end springs or shock absorber system, immediately we contacted and reported it to Enterprise Road services, who at this time told us that the best they could do because being so late at night was to tow the vehicle to the nearest Hotel/Motel and we had to stay there over night at our expense since their rental program did not cover any other accommodation, the other option was to wait till the next morning and contact the nearest Enterprise branch when they open for business at around 8 am. To have the vehicle replaced with another similar one. We decided to continue our way traveling extremely slow, once we drove into Georgia on the next morning we than contacted a local branch, they told us that they had no vehicle inventory to exchange our damaged one, that all they had was reserved vehicles, at this point we called Customer Services searching for an answer of some kind, they just told us to go into Savanah's Airport help desk and ask them to replace our van, once we drove over 20 minutes, miles out of our way and arrived at the airport we were also told by the girl who came to our "help" by the name of Reagan that all they could do was to exchange the van for a smaller car, keep in mind the space needed for 5 adults and luggage for all of us into a small car, "impossible". Than for our luck we noticed a nearby Budget Rent a Car booth where we were able to rent a vehicle such as we needed, yes with more than expected out of pocket expense since we had to return this vehicle back in Miami but this was the only way for us to continue with our trip.
Enterprise Rent a Car company acted completely unprofessional and heartless, not sensitive at all to our needs, how is it possible for an International, worldwide company such as Enterprise is not able to accommodate a client by just replacing a damaged vehicle provided by them and allow this situation to escalate this level.
NEVER EVER USE THE SERVICES OF ENTERPRISE RENT A CAR, avoid it at all costs, there was no reassurance with this company, with a very poor customer service, they are simply a RIP OFF.

If it would let give ZERO STARS I would! This location is such a SCAM! They are trying to blame me for a car that was damaged when they gave it to me. I documented it with the lady that came out to look over the car with me when I was receiving it. She even pointed out how many dents, dings and scratches were all over this car. She told me she had documented it. I also took pictures as a back up because I didn't want to be blamed for anything that was already on this car. When I went to drop the car off, the lady inside was acting very strange and not pleasant. She then went out side with a plastic thing wiping it on the car and examining the car in such a weird way, that I have never witnessed before at a car rental place. I rent cars all the time and have never had a HORRIBLE experience like this. She then tries to say it has hail damage, and she's filing a claim on my insurance. This car was dented all up when they gave it to me and I have pictures to prove it. They do not have any prior photos of the car but are now billing me for damage already on the vehicle when it was given to me stated by me and there rep, who conveniently was at another location when I asked for her and all her notes of damage magically disappeared. IM VERY UNHAPPY! I WILL NEVER RECCOMEND OR USE ENTERPRISE FOR PERSONAL OR BUSINESS AGAIN!

I can say that on numerous times I was told to rent
Cars that were not safe, or properly cleaned. If a customer
Returned a car first thing the next morning, they were charged
For that day - against stated corporate policy. Then the car
Could be rented again, and earn money twice in one day, all so
The manager could have a free car. I was fired when, after 6 months,
I was out sick for one day. I asked for my, according to company policy,
Sick day, and on a subsequent call, told to take a hike.
Bad company to work for, they went by three other names at the time.
Guess they were trying to hide their nastiness.

Terrible customer service!!!! Cars are never ready on time and the employees do not care at all to call or let you know that your rental is not ready!!!! My insurance company made the reservation and Enterprise called me and said my rental would be ready at 1:30 and I was told what make and model car I would have....So, I get there at 1:30, the guy that recieved my i.d and cc was very rude from the start! I gave him my cards (i.d, DL) in his hand, he threw them on the counter when he was done uuugh!!!!! Told me it was busy and that my rental was not available and he also didn't know what make and model I would get!!!I asked him how long would it be until I receive my rental and he said he didn't know!!!! 4hours later I called and they said it would possibly be ready the next day. I asked for a manager, they had me on hold forever and then said she was on a business call!!!! Although all the rental places are now closed... my Insurance company canceled and I've decided to go with Hertz like I should have before!!!! Now, enterprise just called as I'm typing saying they have a small compact car ready when the initial offer was a dodge charger!!! I drive a 2020 sports car!!! Try Hertz first!!! Enterprise are big bullies!!!! Save your money and go to Hertz!!!!
Promised me a car if I walked in the next day. Didn’t have any cars the whole day after I arrived, which delayed my whole trip and costing me hundreds of dollars. If I just had not listened to the customer service, and booked a reservation instead, I would have saved $100 or so on the rental alone - but instead they charged me a higher rate for last minute booking. This was my first EVER car rental - and I learned a lot about what NOT to do - like never booking with enterprise again.
I was hit from behind last December. Finally my car was to be repaired due to the insurance of the other person that hit me ignoring my calls and complaints. Insurance they had is State Farm. The car was suppose to be reserved for me when I went to drop off the car at Caliber Collision in Oviedo, Fl. It wasn't called in by State Farm so a reservation had to be set up. The office of Caliber was nice enough to call over for me. I do have a lawyer because I was also injured in the accident. I called the lawyers office and she arranged the rental via State Farm. When I picked up the rental I was advised I should take additional insurance in case I was in a accident. I told the gentleman I do have full coverage but he talked me into the insurance. Initially I was advised the rental for three days May 6-May 8th so I only authorized the additional insurance for three days! I did have to put down a $50.00 deposit and was advised I would receive this back once the car was dropped off. I was asked to sign, have the car returned with a full tank. I did and even got all receipts showing the gas that I purchased just before dropping off the vehicle. The Customer Service at Caliber attached ( stapled) to my contract and gave to Enterprise on my behalf. Once I dropped off the vehicle upon arriving at my daughter's home in Winter Springs I called the Oviedo office for Enterprise and was advised the deposit of $50.00 would be credited to my bank as I used my debit in approximately 2-3 days. I kept checking and no credit was issued. The original reservation was extended by Enterprise because the car wasn't ready until May11th. So three extra days. Last Friday I looked at my account again it was in the evening and I noticed a charge of $15.97 from Enterprise. They didn't credit me the $50.00 but charged me for an additional three days of insurance $65.97 which I never authorized? I have called the main number for Enterprise because I was advised a " Special Area" handles these complaints and situations. I have spoke to Job, Nichole, and now Chris most recent last night. I was given a case number and re-assured I would be called and this would be resolved? Still no calls or refund? I have given Enterprise an opportunity to resolve and satisfy the customer? Very unprofessional, poor customer service and very sneaky business. You don't charge someone's card or bank without permission? I will now contact the lawyer that is handling my accident. Bottom Line: Don't give them you back card, credit card because they will charge you without authorization! Horrible Business and Very Poor Customer Service! I was in a collision and the other drivers insurance covered my vehicle rental while my car was in for repairs. Enterprise was who we ended up with... At first, super awesome, brought me 2 options (2020Altima & 2021Camry). I went with the Camry, simply because I have 2 small kids and it had leather seats. Well, it looked clean at first glance, but there was clearly uncleaned spots, and due to Covid, that's kinda a red-flag, but okay, I'll brush it off and leave it be, clean it myself, oh well. They told me it had 3/4 of a tank and that's what I needed to return it with. So I had this car for about a week, and on my way to get my car and drop off the Camry, I stopped at the gas station and brought it up to EXACTLY 3/4 of a tank, and drove EXACTLY ONE MILE to drop off the car. Enterprise calls me 3 days later trying to charge me $44 saying I brought the car back with 3/16 of a tank of gas!?!! Excuse me!? I normally wouldn't care, BUT I going through enough with injuries and missing work, I can't afford to be scammed out of $44 because they did whatever they did wrong. If you get a rental here, watch out for them wrongfully billing you!!!
Enterprise is the worse rental car agency
I went to rent a car from enterprise car rental place in boston mass. Freeport street to be exact an when i got there i talk to a guy about picking up a car i reserved as the guy went to give me the car i asked him did he make sure that he put that i wanted i insurance he said yeah an gave me the keys we drove off now we had the car for a couple weeks my daughter gets into a accident she calls me to let me know i then the following day call enterprise to report the accident they say they will get back to me. They call me a couple of hours later saying that i had know insurance an that they would get back to me in a little while to let me know what would be decided. Anyhow they got back to me saying they was keeping my deposit an that would be the end of the case. But they were wrong i went back to the place to see what was going on they were trying to charge me for the damage after they said the case was closed i told them im not paying them because i had insurance i then asked the man where was the guy who i had dealt with while renting the car he replied the guy was not here i asked where is he transferred the guy said no he s been let go. So. I said that should tell you there that someone messed up an it wasn't my fault. The man at enterprise messed up an i will never deal with them again i an right now today going to the better business Bureau complaining about how they are doing there patrons they are terrible. They are cheating people out of there hard earned money while some workers are giving there personal friends special hook ups on there rental car for less than nothing but charging others sky high
Martinsville, VA location is the WORST. Was a nightmare getting my vehicle I reserved and once finally got it taken care of between them and insurance company I arrived to pick up and was not ready and hadn't been cleaned. ( this was after 3 or 4 times I had already come and the lady working swore my card wasn't going through and I'd have to come back another day and refused to rerun after contacting bank IN FRONT OF HER WHI ADVISED SHE COULD RERUN THAT IT WAS ONLY DECLINED DUE TI THE FRAUD PROTECTION SYSTEM ENSURING THE CHARGE WAS VALID... THEN THE NEXT DAY AS I SAT AND WAITED FOR THE VEHICLE I RESERVED SHE BLATANTLY RENTED TO ANOTHER GENTLEMAN WHO HAD COME IN AND APOLOGIZED BUT REFUSED TO CANCEL HIS RESERVATION QND MADE ME COME BACK AGAIN ONLY TO COME BACK THE NEXT DAY AND BE TOLD I HAD TO COME BACK AGAIN BECAUSE MY VEHICLE WAS STILL WAITING TO BE CLEANED THEN CAME BACJ SAME DAY AND CLEARLY WASN'T CLEANED ANDDD ALMOST WAS ON EMPTY GAS WISE!)Came back to get after missing work for a second time! And upon arriving and being told the vehicle had been cleaned, it had not so stupid me still left with the nasty disgusting vehicle. Upon returning I then was accused of damage and wrecking it and ABSOLUTELY DID NOT and after many calls, letters, reviews, time spent trying to resolve ill now be forking out a pretty penny for an attorney to help get this awful experience resolved. The staff at this location is awful too and don't have a clue what the heck they are doing. One will tell you one thing while another is leaving you a voicemail saying the complete opposite. Sad place and the absolute worst company I've EVER had dealings with. If I could give negative stars I'd give this company and location a -5 stars. Attached are just two photos of many that I took on their lot and sent the manager of how ‘clean' this car was, thinking it would be addressed since I had no choice but to still leave with the vehicle as I was dropped off and already had missed work twice this same day and couldn't afford to miss anymore time and be without a vehicle but nothing was done and little did I know the end result would come with even more problems the prior owner had done and I was left held responsible. Sad sad stuff and I pray my attorney will be able to resolve this disaster and ensure the proper folks are held accountable.
I just can't belivie it last week went on line to check prices and to rent a car it was 199.00 today I check and it's 379 . For a week. I guess I will be canceling my trip. And no more rentals for me .Enterprise get yourself together you were a very high standard rental company .What's going on ??
I rented a vehicle and it was given to me with a very strong and unpleasant smell of cigarettes. Every time I got in the car it smelled really strong and it wasn’t comfortable coming from a non smoker. The smell was stuck to the seats so it wouldn’t go away. Just like they ask for your ID and all the questions before giving the car, they should take into consideration that it’s not correct to give a car full of smell. I believe that the agents should begin asking the costumer if they smoke or not before giving the vehicle because it can be disturbing to some.
The staff is very rude and shady! I highly recommend going with other rent a car agencies!. They will look for any reason to charge you after bringing the car back. If you don't take my advise, i would hope that you take photos of the vehicle prior to renting it. You will need it! I would NEVER rent again from Enterprise or pay them a penny ever again!
Waiting 3 hours for a car outside in the cold. No service just keep waiting. Employees are not helpful.

Phone rang for 10 minutes before anyone picked up. No message letting you know to hold and someone will be with you. The phone just rand and rang and rang about 1pm.
